Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director of the new theatre company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) between 2014 and 2019. She has been an actor as well as a board member for SSC since the year 2011. While serving as SSC's Artistic Director, Lauren Ash-Morgan also served in the capacities of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors as well as text coaches. Though she typically led within her acting ensemble, in her last year with SSC King Lear, she was promoted to director and lighting designer. Her roles include various other television shows in addition to acting. She is the daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised along with two children within Walnut Creek. She attended Las Lomas High School where she played cheerleading. She studied briefly at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Personally, Post was previously was married with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband since 1982. They have two daughters. Post is a wonderful actress, ideal mother and wife, and also a role model for many Hollywood celebrities.
