Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer and songwriter, whose stories of youthful heartache earned her widespread fame in the early 21st century. Swift first showed an keen interest in the world of music from a very young age. She made rapid progress starting with children's roles until her first appearance before a crowd of thousands. She was age 11 when she performed The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball match and the following year she began playing guitar and began writing songs. Drawing inspiration from musicians from the country genre like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original material that reflected her experiences of growing up in a world that was dominated by tweens. Swift moved from Pennsylvania with her parents to Hendersonville, Tennessee when she was 13 to commit greater time in wooing the labels of country music in Nashville.
